Clutch problems?!?!?! Did I ever have any??????? Let me think here............................ yeah, about 4 clutches in 42,000 miles. Mine was an '04. I did eventually did get rid of it because of that and numerous other problems and got a classic. The funny thing about MINIs, either they are really good or really bad.

I would say get a hold of Claude Bernie, area rep for MINI , but I don't know if he still works for MINI and I also have no faith in him after he said after my third clutch started making noise that it was a "natural phenomenon" and there was nothing they could do.

I hop you get it sorted.

Sad to see this. I've got 15,500 miles on my manual MCS and it has been great. I hope I don't get tagged with the golden bb.

I hope your issue is resolved and the dealer takes care of you. Mini of Monrovia has been good to me so far. I hope it stays that way.

After seeing everyone Saturday at the BBQ/Drive-in event, I was reminded that I had forgotten to follow up on my clutch fiasco.  First, the clutch was replaced no charge, however I did have to pay for the labor. thebirdman I threatened that I would go to the consummer guy at Channel 2 news with my thirty pages of print out on failed MINI clutches from the Edmonds web site if they would not replace the clutch without charging me for it. As for Claude....oh please!! mblah05 mblah05 When I talked to service at Nick's about the dimples on the rear doors of my Clubman that Claude said that MINI would take care of no charge; guess what....it was "HUH?" After another "discussion" cussing they took care of it. The whole experience was frustrating and exhausting. The only positive thing that came out of this was really realizing what a great group wav I belong to and where NOT to take my MINI to for servicing anymore!

Thank you ALL for your support, advice, and friendship. notworthy

Best,

Sandie

P.S. Thanx Joanne for dealership advice and Dan for "dimples" suggestions. angel8 angel8
