Restored Works Tribute: 1960 Austin Mini Mk1

Look what I found...

This 1960 Austin Mini is a rust free California example that has been restored with many of the right works-inspired components. It has a built 1275cc engine and the dashboard is particularly impressive with a Halda Tripmaster, navigator map lamp, and twin watches. Find it here on Craigslist in San Francisco, California for $16k. http://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/cto/922800441.html

Did you buy it or have any contact info?  I am pretty sure it is a Mini I used to own in the late 80s and would like to find out.  I've always wondered what happened to it.

Nope, didn't buy it.  Just though it was cool.
