2008 Tagging Season Is Now Open - April

Tagged a 05-06 PH/W MC on Grand in Walnut, didn't get plates as I was at a stoplight and handed a tag card to the owner, she had to turn left onto Amar and I had to continue northbound on Grand.

Err...I can describe it I guess, it was a PH/W MC with Xenon, Panoramic roof, no tint or stubby antenna the stock 15" wheels! I see it around every once in a while I'll be sure to grab plate # next time I see it.

Ohh btw, Lex that MINI that signed up was the one I spot in the driveway sometimes by my house!

Last week I tagged a MCS in a parking lot and met it's owner then.
Today I helped him change his oil in my driveway. It was so much fun to help him and add to the life of his MINI. It was his first oil change.

That is why I like Tagging. I have met someone who shares the excitement of owning one of the most exciting cars ever made.
We spent most of our time together sharing how much we loved our cars. I guess we are "Car Crazy". Or maybe more accurately we are MINI Maniacs.

I agree Mostyn!!  I was behind a Mellow Yellow mini this morning trying to turn right not realizing, until she waved, that it was PAM ..the lady that signed up last week that I tagged.

hmm???  still waiting for my first sign ups. 

here's the remainder of my april tagging.
most of them are "night" tags, because i've been working late this past week.

a couple of suggestions for those who are considering night tagging:
1. park close to the mini you're going to tag.  not for a quick get-a-way, but for association.  the owners are more at ease if they see another mini.
2. wear bright/tidy clothes.  it's a fine line between seen as "trying to leave something on the car" to "trying to take the car".
