2008 Tagging Season Is Open!


Let's have some fun with our new SCMM club cards!  For the next couple of months, we will have monthly competitions on the top successful taggers.  Monthly winners will receive a prize and have their picture in the newsletter.

There will be threads created for every month (starting in April) on Tagging.  Please post your tagging exploits in order to receive points.

Points are awarded by the following:
1 pt awarded for tagging a fellow SCMM?er (no tagging at SCMM events allowed)
2 pts awarded for tagging a MINI (you must provide a picture or at least provide the license plate number)
4 pts awarded for tagging a MINI resulting in the owner signing up for a SCMM membership
Bonus 5 points awarded if you get 3 or more new members to join (so if you get 2 new members sign up in 1 month, and you get 1 new member signing up in a future month ? you will get the bonus points.  Then you will start from scratch again.)

For each tag, you will have to provide the date, time and place of the event.

Not only will your points be recorded every month, but at the end of the year, the top Taggers for the year will be recognized at SCMM?s Anniversary Bash, with the top Tagger winning a prize.

Lex - "The MINI Tagger" is not eligible to win.

If you come to the Ruby's Breakfast next Saturday, I will give you some cards. You know you can only tag a MINI once... just in case you were thinking of using the same 5 MINIs at your work for convenience.

It's really too bad you don't attend more club events any more, Mikey.  We have a lot of great taggers in our club, I know George and I gave out a lot of cards at Coogie's this past Saturday.  There's one member in West Covina who is raring to tag, and we have another member from Dana Point (who unfortunately is a CR hater) chases after MINIs on foot.  I am sure we will have taggers who will chase down MINIs like you once did.

I have one old card left. I'll be popping in one in a while to the events. but in the mean time I have to cut down on EATING and spending money on Gas.
It's good to know that we have a bunch of members to carry on the good work of tagging with the new cards.
