Folks,

Jerry (Siddharta) showed us a great trick at the Buttonwillow class he and Bob (Canyon Mini) were having last month, that makes the GC Locks unnecessary!

1)  Push your seat all the way back, and snug up your belt nicely.
2)  Reach up to your shoulder, and pull quickly on the belt, to engage the locking mechanism.
3)  While keep your hand up at your shoulder, to keep the belt locked, slide your seat forward into your normal driving position.

This not only locks the lap portion, but the entire belt (shoulders too).

It may take a few times to get the motions down, but once you do.... very very cool.

Too much trouble, and I prefer the shoulder part to move freely.  Love my CG Locks!

PS: I heard today that there are kid versions of the CG Lock for when they're using booster seats... Need to check that out.
